The school offered exceptional and very effective support for the road test. I had been driving for 35 years, but had failed the NYS road test twice, leading to terrible anxiety around retaking it a third time. My instructors (Stephen and Alex) worked with me on my main issue (parallel parking) and on a variety of other bad habits. The prep lesson with Alex right before the test was incredibly helpful. He was patient and persistent, and helped not only with practice, but also with boosting my self-confidence, like a life coach. I can say in all confidence that was what helped me overcome my anxiety and finally pass. Thank you to the awesome team at Dutchess driving school. The office staff was awesome to work with. They worked extremely hard so I could have a schedule that worked for me. My instructor Carlos was absolutely awesome. Taught me some great tricks and all the rules of the road so that I could pass my first try. Testing day was nerve wracking but they also had someone from the team there to help explain everything and make sure it went smoothly. I first did training at Dutches school of Driving a couple of years ago and obtained a class A CDL and never had opportunity to put a review up. It was a great experience working with all there from Anna at the desk to especially CARLOS who was my instructor. He is absolutely fantastic! Now again I needed to obtain a coach bus endorsement and also school bus endorsement so I used them again and was super excited to get Carlos again immediately my stress level dropped he care that you accomplishe your goal of passing the test and understanding what you are doing . I found out he and Lisa who helped as well both have over 30 years of training people to drive . Their experience shows and they care as well! Highly recommended!! After spending years as an adult with crippling anxiety impinging my ability to drive and hindering my life experiences, The Dutchess School of Driving has helped me immensely. After having a lesson with Alex, I had two lessons with Carlos and then my final lesson with Alex and these guys really got me ready for the test. They helped me work on my weaknesses, were always patient and willing to nitpick the tiny details that make all of the difference. Also did the 5-Hour with Carlos and he kept it light and exciting without making it feel frivolous or boring. It was very educational without feeling like a chore. These two guys are teaching the same curriculum but with different teaching styles that I found really compliment each other well. Thanks again Dutchess Driving School, you have changed my life forever. Also if you are questioning if the price is worth it, it totally is. You can pay less for an inferior learning experience and then end up taking the test several more times as a result.
