FMCSA-APPROVED CDL ENTRY LEVEL DRIVER TRAINING (ELDT) FOR CDL A OR CDL B<\/u> <\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Individuals who obtain a commercial learner\u2019s permit (CLP) on or after February 7, 2022 will need to complete this (Theory) course, IN ADDITION TO MANDATORY ROAD & RANGE TRAINING<\/u><\/a> before they will be permitted to take their CDL skills or knowledge test.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Upon completion of this course, we will submit your Theory Training Portion results to the FMCSA Training Provider Registry.<\/u><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

ELDT Theory CDL A or B Fee:<\/span> $205.97 NON REFUNDABLE<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

NOTICE: This portion (ELDT THEORY TRAINING) is 1 of the 3 Required Prerequisites to be eligible to take a NYS CDL Road Test. In addition to ELDT THEORY TRAINING, one must also satisfactorily <\/span>complete On-Road & Range Training through an approved training provider. Contact us for more information. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Prior to providing any Road Test Services, NYS DMV will retrieve these results from the Training Provider Registry to verify that the student has completed this theory course, as well as satisfactorily completed Road & Range Training. If any portion is missing or incomplete, NYS DMV will cancel your Road Test. <\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
