The first step is to have your child obtain their New York State Permit from your local DMV. Upon receiving their permit, they are ready to start driving lessons. Every student is different, and therefore learn at different rates. We recommend scheduling a single-session lesson first, so our instructor can assess and evaluate your child. At the end of the lesson, our instructor will fill out an evaluation form for the student. The purpose of this is to provide a sense of direction with your child’s training. From there, you can choose to book single lessons (a la carte), or upgrade into one of our package programs.
