Like planning for college, or any other higher education program, getting a CDL is a serious consideration. We strongly encourage all prospective students to do as much research on job prospects, outlooks, career opportunities, and companies beforehand to ensure this is a right fit for you. Knowing what you want to drive is also a huge plus, (whether it be a bus, tractor trailer, or box truck). If you decide to move forward, we are here for you every step of the way. Simply put, we are the Hudson Valley’s Leading Driver Training Center! We teach students of various ages and backgrounds how to safely operate cars (automatic and manual transmission), tractor trailers, buses, and box trucks. All of our vehicles are certified by NY state, and our instructors have years of experience teaching behind the wheel. 2017 is our 15th year in business, and we’ve served thousands upon thousands of satisfied, safe, and skillful clients over the years. We look forward to helping you obtain your license! To schedule a lesson, please call our office at (845)226-6700. An office assistant will first create a record for the student. The office assistant and student/or parent will then book the desired number of lessons. The last step in booking a lesson is for us to process a payment in the form of cash, check, credit, or debit cards. The first step is to have your child obtain their New York State Permit from your local DMV. Upon receiving their permit, they are ready to start driving lessons. Every student is different, and therefore learn at different rates. We recommend scheduling a single-session lesson first, so our instructor can assess and evaluate your child. At the end of the lesson, our instructor will fill out an evaluation form for the student. The purpose of this is to provide a sense of direction with your child’s training. From there, you can choose to book single lessons (a la carte), or upgrade into one of our package programs.
